The infrared photos here were shot with cameras converted to Infrared by removing the internal Low-Pass Filter (Hot Filter) over the imaging sensor and replacing it with clear glass or an Infrared Filter. Infrared shots are edited in Photoshop for special effects. Some images are converted to monochrome with Photoshop and other editors. I have included photos that have been shot and processed with High Dynamic Range (HDR) techniques and other special effects as well. Also included are photographs shot using a circular fisheye lens as well as a few abstract art-like pictures.
Here are sample images from my recent photo shoots. You can click one of the below photos to view a larger copy. Then, to go to other photos from that outing, click on the gallery link below that photo.

St. Augustine (Spanish: San Agustín) is a city in Northeast Florida and the oldest continuously occupied European-established settlement and port in the continental United States. The county seat of St. Johns County, it is part of Florida's First Coast region and the Jacksonville metropolitan area. According to the 2010 census, the city population was 12,975.
San Agustín was founded in September 1565 by Spanish admiral Pedro Menéndez de Avilés, and subsequently served as the capital of Spanish Florida for two hundred years. It remained the capital of East Florida as the territory changed hands between the Spanish and British, and remained the capital of the Florida Territory until it was moved to Tallahassee in 1824. Since the late 19th century, its historical character has made the city a major tourist attraction. It is the headquarters for the Florida National Guard.

My brother, Steve, who lives in Brunswick, frequently travels around the state of Maine, and the maritime provinces of Canada. This is a gallery containing some of his art. Recently someone asked me to compare Steve and me as photographers. My reply was "I have more equipment than Steve has, but he has more talent than I do."
