LARC-LX (Lighter Amphibious Resupply Cargo - 60 Ton)

The LARC-LX (Lighter Amphibious Resupply Cargo - 60 Ton) is a welded steel hull amphibious vehicle. It can carry up to 100 tons of cargo or 200 personnel.

The LARC - LX was used in the Vietnam to offload personnel and supplies across undeveloped beaches. This LARC was one of a company of LARCs operated by the Army Reserve based in Florida.
